A Mitsubishi anunciou três novas linhas de televisores DLP 3D a preços (relativamente) acessíveis. O maior destaque é um modelo de 82 polegadas por menos de US$ 4.000.

Como são aparelhos DLP, não são tão finos como costumam ser os modelos de plasma e LCD. Mas, pelo baixo preço, pode valer a pena. O WD-82738 (82 polegadas, US$ 3.799), uma evolução do WD-82737, tem o StreamTV Internet Media, com aplicativos que incluem Pandora, Vudu e NY Times. O topo de linha WD-82838, também de 82 polegadas, sai por US$ 4.500 e inclui a Immersive Sound Technology, um sistema surround 5.1 com 16 alto-falantes.

Para quem não precisa de uma tela tão grande, o WD-60638 é o mais básico dos modelos anunciados. Tem 60 polegadas e custa US$ 1.200 – um bom preço para um televisor 3D, ainda que seja DLP.

Offering the most 3D TVs in the industry, MDEA brings an unparalleled, immersive 3D experience home with its cinema-like 60, 65, 73 and mammoth 82-inch screen sizes.

MDEA has been selling 3D-ready TVs since 2007, was the first to demonstrate 3D TV at retail, and has been showcasing 3D directly to consumers for over two years running. The 2010 line-up represents the fourth generation of 3D-ready TVs from MDEA.
