Hoje, no aniversário de Steve Jobs, a Apple atualizou a linha de MacBook Pros com modelos muito mais rápidos. Mas você já esperava por isso! Eles também contam com a tecnologia Light Peak da Intel (renomeada para Thunderbolt), que transfere dados a 10 gigabits por segundo. E agora eles têm câmera HD para FaceTime!

A tecnologia Thunderbolt permite transferência de dados de até 10Gbps e é compatível com FireWire, Ethernet e USB através de adaptadores. Ele tem suporte direto a DisplayPort (sem adaptadores), e você pode usar adaptadores já existentes para DisplayPort para conectar dispositivos HDMI, DVI e VGA. E a Apple espera que o padrão Thunderbolt seja adotado por outras fabricantes.

E a nova webcam agora tem alta resolução e, claro, tem suporte a FaceTime. Você ainda terá o pacote de sempre dos MacBooks Pro: design monobloco de alumínio, teclado retroiluminado e aquele trackpad lindo.

Por dentro, os três modelos (13, 15 e 17 polegadas) têm processadores dual-core ou quad-core da Intel, e você pode incrementar cada modelo. A versão de 13″ tem processador Intel Core i5 2,3 GHz de dois núcleos e HD de 320GB, e custa R$3.599 no Brasil. Você também pode escolher o modelo com Core i5 de 2,7 GHz e 500GB de disco rígido, que sai por R$4.999.

O modelo de 15 polegadas vem com um Core i7 2GHz de quatro núcleos, placa de vídeo AMD Radeon HD 6490M e 500GB de disco rígido, e custa R$6.699. Também há a versão Core i7 de 2,2GHz, placa AMD Radeon HD 6750M e HD de 750GB, e custa R$7.999.

O maior modelo dos MacBook Pros, de 17 polegadas, tem a mesma configuração do modelo de 15″ mais avançado: processador quad-core Intel Core i7 de 2,2GHz, placa AMD Radeon HD 6750M e HD de 750GB. Ele sai por R$9.199.

Todos os modelos vêm com Mac OS X Snow Leopard e a suíte de aplicativos iLife.
