Eee PC 901 virá com 3G embutido a partir de outubro, nos EUA
Em uma formidável decisão, o pessoal da Asus adicionará um recurso muito importante a um de seus netbooks – conectividade 3.75G HSUPA ao Eee PC 901 (8,9”, Atom) – sem inventar mais cinco diferentes designações de modelos. O chip 3.75G estará em todos os 901 enviados a partir de outubro.
Com aclamada transmissão de 7,2 Mbps para download e 2 Mbps para upload pelo ar, o novo chipset do 901 deverá funcionar na rede AT&T nos EUA. Atualmente o netbook custa por volta de US$ 500 – e a Asus por enquanto não mencionou mudanças de preço para os modelos com 3G.
