Previsto inicialmente para 2023, o Emmy atrasou devido às greves de Hollywood, e aconteceu na última segunda-feira (15).
A premiação celebrou os principais sucessos de séries e da TV, com destaque a “Succession”. A série ganhou em seis categorias das sete que disputou. “Succession” ainda teve Brian Cox, Kieran Culkin e Jeremy Strong disputando para melhor ator em série de drama.
O mesmo aconteceu em melhor ator coadjuvante, com Nicholas Braun, Matthew Macfayden, Alan Ruck e Alexander Skarsgard.
Na parte de comédia, “The Bear” somou os mesmos seis prêmios, incluindo o de melhor série do gênero para a primeira temporada.
Já “Treta” dominou entre as minisséries com cinco Emmy’s.
A cerimônia ainda premiou o cantor Elton John em melhor especial de variedades pelo show “Farewell from Dodger Stadium”. O cantor entrou para o grupo de artistas vencedores do Emmy, Grammy, Oscar e Tony.
