“Grammy das mulheres” premia Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish e SZA; veja lista

O Grammy premiou neste domingo (4) os artistas da indústria musical com as três principais categorias dominadas por mulheres: Taylor Swift (melhor álbum do ano), Miley Cyrus (gravação do ano) e Billie Eilish (canção do ano).

Com dois prêmios, Taylor Swift ainda anunciou um novo álbum em pleno palco da premiação. O novo trabalho “The Tortured Poets Department” será lançado no dia 19 de abril.

Assim como Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus venceu em duas categorias com a canção “Flowers”, do álbum “Endless Summer Vacation”. Foram os dois primeiros Grammys da carreira dela.

A canção de Billie Eilish para o filme “Barbie”, “What Was I Made For?” venceu também em melhor canção para mídia visual. A música também está indicada ao Oscar.

SZA, maior indicada da noite, teve três prêmios em melhor performance pop duo ou grupo, melhor canção R&B e melhor álbum de R&B Progressivo.

Victoria Monet foi a artista revelação da noite e a colombiana Karol G ganhou em melhor álbum de música urbana com “Mañana Será Bonito” — primeira mulher vencedora na categoria.

Jay-Z foi homenageado no Grammy e aproveitou a visibilidade para criticar e apontar racismo na organização do evento com Beyoncé, maior ganhadora de Grammys com 32 e que nunca recebeu um de melhor álbum do ano.

Homenagem a Sinead O’Connor no Grammy

A cantora inglesa Annie Lennox fez uma linda homenagem à irlandesa Sinead O’Connor, que morreu no ano passado. No segmento do Grammy chamado “In Memoriam”, que presta tributo a artistas que morreram no último ano, Lennox interpretou “Nothing Compares 2 U”, canção de Prince eternizada pela irlandesa. Ao final da apresentação, a cantora do Eurythmics tam,bém ergueu o punhp pedindo um cessar-fogo em Gaza. Ela gritou “paz no mundo”.

Além de Lennox, durante a cerimônia em Los Angeles, as garotas do grupo Boygenius usaram pins de apoio ao cessar-fogo no conflito entre Israel e o grupo Hamas.
