O Precision M6500 é uma atualização da linha de workstations da Dell, e é uma atualização de peso: é o primeiro a vir com processador Intel i7-920XM Quad Core Extreme, a nova nVidia QuadroFX 3800M e até 16GB de memória RAM rodando a 1600MHz.
Além de todos esses "primeiros" (que serão exclsuividade de todo mundo em breve, já que a Intel e a nVidia se dão bem com todo mundo), ele tem uma tela de 17 polegadas retroiluminada por LED e com resolução de 1920×1080, capaz de exibir 100% do color gamut da Adobe. Sem contar que ele agora tem perfis de cores selecionáveis pelo usuário.
O monstro de quase 4kg é destinado a "profissionais criativos", em animação, CAD, federais e de defesa, então você não precisar nem perguntar quanto para saber que a Dell está cobrando infernalmente caro por tamanho poder de fogo.
