A Canon PowerShot G11 estará disponível a partir de outubro, por US$ 500.

A G11 conta com as mesma lentes de 28 mm com zoom de 5x (28-140 mm), mas troca o sensor de 14,7 MP da G10 por um CCD de 10 MP, que supostamente oferece melhor desempenho sob pouca luz. O novo Dual Anti-Noise System (sistema duplo de anti-ruído) combina esse novo sensor com a tecnologia Digic 4 para oferecer melhor qualidade de imagem em até dois stops de abertura (em relação à G10), segundo a própria Canon.
