Na noite de premiação do Critics Choice Awards do último domingo (14), “Oppenheimer”, filme de Christopher Nolan, desbancou o sucesso bilionário de bilheteria “Barbie” e levou o prêmio de melhor filme.
Considerada um termômetro para o Oscar, a premiação ainda consagrou o filme nas categorias de melhor ator coadjuvante, com Robert Downey Jr. no papel de Lewis Strauss.
“Oppenheimer” ainda ganhou em melhor elenco, melhor direção, melhor fotografia, melhor efeitos visuais, melhor edição e melhor trilha sonora.
Mas “Barbie” não ficou atrás, e garantiu seis prêmios. O filme de Greta Gerwig venceu em melhor roteiro original (no Oscar o filme competirá em roteiro adaptado), melhor direção de arte, melhor cabelo e maquiagem, melhor figurino, melhor canção e melhor comédia.
