Skype chega ao Android, finalmente
É difícil de acreditar que o Skype ainda não tinha app oficial para o Android com toda a funcionalidade de outras plataformas (Skype Lite não conta!), mas é verdade. Como prometido, o Skype chegou ao Android, e quem roda as versões 2.1 ou 2.2 pode baixá-lo agora de graça, para fazer ligações gratuitas de Skype para Skype, conversar por mensagem instantânea, e mais.
Assim como na versão para iPhone, você pode realizar ligações via Wi-Fi ou 3G, e ambas funcionam razoavelmente bem no Brasil, pelo que pude testar – a qualidade de som é boa, mas ele travou no Dext quando tentei aumentar o volume. O programa está disponível em português do Brasil.
Você também pode mandar mensagens instantâneas para seus contatos do Skype – ou até mesmo para um grupo inteiro – e sincronizar contatos com sua agenda do Android. O Skype é um app pesado, com 14,23MB, mas vale a pena baixar.

· Synchronize contacts between Skype and the native address book and after synchronization place Skype calls directly from the native address book.
· See when Skype contacts are online and available to call or chat
· Easily import names and numbers to the Skype application from the native address book
· Receive calls on their Skype online number
