“Abbott Elementary” lidera indicações do Critics Choice Awards; confira lista

Fim de ano chegou, com indícios que a temporada de premiações está se aproximando. E para começar com chave de ouro, a Associação dos Críticos dos Estados Unidos (Critics Choice Association) revelou nesta terça-feira (06), a lista de séries indicadas à 28ª edição do Critics Choice Awards.

Entre os destaques está a série de comédia “Abbott Elementary”, do canal norte-americano ABC, que liderou a lista com seis nomeações. Entre as indicações, está a de Melhor Série de Comédia e as outras cinco divididas entre Melhor Atriz, Melhor Ator Coadjuvante e Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante. “Better Call Saul” ficou logo atrás, com cinco indicações.

Outras produções lembradas no Critics Choice Awards foram para “Gaslit”, “Reservation Dogs” e “The Good Fight”, que empataram com quatro indicações cada. Se tratando das plataformas de streaming, a HBO/HBO Max saiu na frente, com 21 indicações. Netflix e FX vêm em seguida, com 15, enquanto a Hulu recebeu 14, e Apple TV+ e Paramount+ tiveram 10 nomeações cada. Por outro lado, o Disney+ emplacou apenas três indicados.

“Ao embarcarmos na realização do 28º Critics Choice Awards, estamos impressionados com a riqueza de séries notáveis que foram consideradas para as indicações deste ano”, disse Ed Martin, co-presidente da divisão televisiva do Critics Choice Association, em comunicado. “Claramente, a indústria se recuperou bastante. Estamos ansiosos para homenagear as melhores séries e programas do ano na próxima cerimônia de premiação”.

O Critics Choice Awards também vai premiar os melhores do cinema, mas os indicados das produções cinematográficas só serão anunciados na próxima quarta-feira, 14 de dezembro. A entrega dos prêmios de cinema e televisão acontecerá em conjunto no dia 15 de janeiro, no Fairmont Century Plaza na cidade de Los Angeles.
